Costa Rica coffee beans are a type of coffee bean grown in the Central American country of Costa Rica. Costa Rica is known for producing high-quality coffee with a bright, crisp acidity and a medium body.

The coffee is grown in several regions of the country, including Tarrazu, Tres Rios, and Central Valley. The high altitudes and volcanic soil of these regions provide optimal growing conditions for the Arabica coffee plant, which is the type of coffee bean that is primarily grown in Costa Rica.

Costa Rican coffee beans are typically wet-processed, which means the coffee cherries are pulped and then washed to remove the outer layers of fruit. This results in a clean, bright flavor with notes of citrus and chocolate. Costa Rican coffee is often described as having a "clean" taste, with a balance of sweetness and acidity.

Costa Rican coffee is highly valued in the specialty coffee market, and many coffee roasters and cafes feature Costa Rican coffee on their menus.
